wow is about all I got on this one. cliffhanger that just makes you say " wow". that's some f__ked up crap.
This was a somewhat weird experience for me. I enjoyed this book but...but. I somehow kept feeling like the author held back. So much more potential, I could practically smell it. The weird part? Erhm. I magically found myself rushing to buy episode 2 and 3. So. Yeah. That should say something.
This series could easily fall at 4-5 star's with a bit of work. The characterization is a bit light, but I do feel like I'm getting to know the characters slowly through each book. The 'insta-love' is believable (the whole werewolf mates thing), some of the action scenes seem quickly written (show don't tell as my creative writing teacher always said), and the smut isn't exactly steamy, but close. Now... This series is in serious need of some editing. In part 4, there is a REPEATED chapter... and it doesn't get much worse then that as far as bad editing goes. Also, I suspect that English may not be the authors native language due to word use and sentence structure, which of course is totally fine, and could be helped with... editing. There are some serious continuity errors, like guns, clothes, etc, changing colors, and some weird transitions during intimate scenes ( per example someone’s shorts are 'bunched up' for fellatio, but then later they pull their pants back up). It's not bad enough to keep me from reading, but some people are easily annoyed by these things, and I have truthfully seen worse.
Writing skills need a lot of work. Poor sentence structure keeps interfering with trying to follow a particular scene. Our poor hero is still working on the same day he put his suit on and is suddenly wearing jeans without benefit of changing. Improvements in writing skills - take some classes - English language skills and serious proofreading must be done. In the meantime lower your price to .. 99. Your writing and the "chapter" style are not worthy of your big pricing. You would do well to read some serious authors to experience truly real writing.
PRO storyline is very good, kept you interested CON this is only a chapter of a book. You are expected to purchase a chapter or two at a time in order to finish the story, and depending on how many chapters is depending on the price
